it’s not that it tastes horrible, it’s like 5/10 on the big tasty scale. the problem is how horrific it is if you really think about it; pineapple is incredibly acidic, it actually bites at your mouth while you eat it. that’s why you get that weird tingly sensation when you eat it. if it can do that to the human mouth imagine what it does to the cheese and the sauce, let alone the meat. the cheese is often soft and mushy so you can bite into it, so in your mouth when you bite down on to the juicy pineapple, it turns that cheese into essentially liquid. the bread and the sauce are ruined as well, as you can imagine. the bread is like soggy, and everyone hates soggy bread, except for the british, but they don’t count. tl;dr pineapple on pizza is sinful, 100% definitely backed by science.
